The MF360B is a full automatic edge banding machine for panel furniture production. Six stations run in one pass, from gluing to buffing, on panels from 10 to 60 mm thick at 13 to 23 m/min. Nothing between the first station and the last one needs an operator.
What the MF360B Does
The published function list is the clearest description of the machine: gluing, end cut, rough trim, fine trim, scrape and buffing. Six steps, in that order, on a single conveyor.
Gluing lays the adhesive and applies the strip. End cut squares the overhang at both ends of the panel. Rough trim and fine trim bring the strip down to the panel face, a heavy pass then a light one. Scrape removes the glue line and cutter marks, and buffing is the finish pass. That sequence is what makes the machine full automatic rather than partly automatic: without end cut, someone still has to start and finish every panel by hand.
The Workpiece Window It Accepts
Three published ranges decide whether a panel can go through at all. Thickness is 10 to 60 mm, so cabinet sides, shelves and doors all fit. Width starts at 60 mm and length at 100 mm, which is what lets drawer fronts and small door parts run on the same machine as a full sheet.
The Edge It Handles
Edge thickness is 0.4 to 3 mm, which spans thin PVC tape through to the thicker strip used where the edge takes daily handling. Edge height is 15 to 65 mm, covering 15 mm shelf stock and the 65 mm edge of a frame or worktop.
Those two figures are the ones to match against your own material list first. A strip thicker than 3 mm, or an edge taller than 65 mm, is outside what this machine is published to run. The process itself is covered in what edge banding is, and the sizes across the range in edge banding machine sizes and weights.
Speed, Power and Air Supply
Feed speed is 13 to 23 m/min, set on the panel control. The low end suits short parts and strips that want more time under the cutters. Total power is 9 kW, and working air pressure is 0.6 MPa.
The air supply is the one that gets overlooked: trimming and scraping units on this class are air actuated, so a compressor already committed elsewhere shows up first as inconsistent trim on short parts. A shop that also presses and veneers runs the MF360B alongside a glue spreader further up the panel line.
Footprint and Weight
Overall size is 4100 × 1000 × 1600 mm and the machine weighs 1400 kg. The length is the figure that decides your layout, because 4100 mm has to be clear for the machine itself plus infeed and outfeed for the longest panel you band. Plan the room from the panel length outward, not from the machine footprint inward.
At 1400 kg it sits on its own base, but the floor has to be level enough to keep the conveyor in line over a long panel. What moves the purchase price is set out in edge banding machine price.
Why the Station Order Matters
Each station removes material the next one would otherwise have to deal with. End cut comes first among the trimmers because the leading and trailing overhangs are the largest pieces of surplus strip on the panel. Rough trim, fine trim, scrape and buffing follow in that order. Rearrange the sequence and the later stations work harder from a worse starting point.
What the Specification Does Not Tell You
The table below is short, and it is better to say what it leaves out than to fill the gap with plausible numbers. It does not publish cutter tooth counts, glue type or glue pot capacity, tool life, panels per shift, compressed air consumption, supply voltage, noise level or which certifications the machine holds.
Ask us for your configuration in writing rather than read a figure off a page that was not written for your order. A number that is right for the MF360B is not automatically right for a larger machine in the same series.
Parts, Workshop and Shipping
Both photographs are of this machine as built at our works. The first is the production floor, where the machines are lined up under test before packing. The second is loading, wrapped and lifted by forklift into the container.
For the spare parts list, the electrical diagram or the packing dimensions for your own order, ask us and we will send them. The full machine range sits under edge bander machines.
